Made in 18 KT white gold (750/1000), with an overall weight of approximately 11.20 grams.
Indicative period of realization: around the 2000s.
NATURAL SAPPHIRE – CORUNDUM
Weight: 9.41 carats
Cut: mixed oval step-cut
Dimensions: approximately 14.38 x 11.88 x 5.70 mm
Color: red
Clarity: transparent
In GEM TEST Rep. 142/11 (2011) the gem is indicated as: “Sapphire of Burmese origin (Myanmar)”
As reported in the technical documentation, the gem has undergone an enhancing treatment consisting of superficial repair with high PbO₂-containing silicate products (glass filled), already detected in 2011 and confirmed in the most recent gemological certificate.
DIAMONDS – Total about 3.00 Carats
The sapphire is enhanced by an impressive double halo of brilliant-cut diamonds:
25 diamonds of about 0.08 ct each (total about 2.00 ct)
20 diamonds of about 0.05 ct each (total about 1.00 ct)
