In a unique visual dialogue, Deja View combines the work of beloved photographer Martin Parr, a master at capturing art in everyday life, with The Anonymous Project's archive of unidentified vintage color slides collected across Europe and America. Striking and delightful in their likeness, these images, paired with affection, celebrate the power of photography to capture the small moments of humor, warmth, boredom and absurdity that are, in fact, the most important of all. The Anonymous Project is dedicated to collecting and preserving color slides from the mid-20th century from around the world. Started in 2017 by director Lee Shulman, the project brings to light Kodachrome memories that would otherwise be lost forever.
