Born in Sassari in 1922, he began his artistic career in Venice in 1949 in a group exhibition; from then on, over a span of 25 years, he worked intensely not only in Sardinia but also in other regions, especially Lombardy and Piedmont. To understand his artistic genius, one would only have to go see the works carried out in the Church of the Sacred Heart in Sassari. His most important activity was in the field of Sacred Art, which he pursued since the age of 17, with frescoes for the churches of San Donato, San Sisto, San Giuseppe. The most grandiose and interesting work, however, remains the mosaic "Via Crucis" laid along the walls of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Sassari.
He died in Sassari in 1975."}
