Description from the seller
No reserve price. ZEISS IKON IKONTA B 521/16. Made in Germany. This model was produced from 1948 to 1953. Notable is the compactness 135x85x40 mm and the light weight of 500 grams. The leatherette covering no longer hides the distinctive “Zeiss bumps” above the rivets. A simple lever under the winding key prevents double exposure, with a red color indicator for a cocked shutter. The plate at the front of the bellows, to which the shutter is attached, now has a characteristic folded lip with two small rivets. A 3-element in 3-group Novar-Anastigmat f/4.5 7.5 cm with focus from infinity to 1 meter produces sharp images. The diaphragm ranges from f/4.5 to f/22 with 9 blades. The Gauthier Koilo shutter has B and 1 to 1/250 second and a self-timer. Everything works as it should; the glass is in good condition with minimal signs of wear, and given its age this camera can be qualified as LIKE NEW. So fully manual settings. The essential of photography. No batteries that can run down. No electronics telling you what to do or taking the photo for you. Only I and a machine.
