Description from the seller
From the series “Dreamscape Horizon”
Acrylic on canvas, 110 × 110 cm (without stretcher), canvas 500 g/m².
The painting will be shipped rolled, without a stretcher. Signed on the back, with authenticity certificate.
● When stretched onto a 2 cm thick stretcher, the visible image area is approximately 102 × 102 cm.
● When stretched onto a 4 cm thick stretcher, the visible image area is approximately 98 × 98 cm.
Please note that the measurements may vary slightly depending on the stretcher and the framing.
This work belongs to the series “Dreamscape Horizon,” in which Alla Faber creates landscapes between reality and imagination – calm, atmospheric spaces where light and color are central.
In “Emerald Elysium,” a quiet, almost surreal horizon opens up. The luminous green of the water forms a tense contrast with the warm, pinkish sky, giving the scene an unusual, dreamlike effect. The light at the horizon does not seem directly tangible, but softly dissolves in the space, creating a quiet, meditative atmosphere.
The reflections on the water are intentionally soft, adding depth without losing the lightness of the composition. The dark rocks provide calm accents and structure the foreground, while the viewer’s gaze is guided along the light into the distance.
The large-format painting is especially well suited for modern living spaces, bedrooms, calm work areas, or stylish office interiors, bringing a special, almost dreamlike atmosphere into the room.
About the artist
Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg. For several years she has devoted herself to abstract and contemporary painting, creating large-scale works that balance stillness and movement, structure and ease.
Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels, and metal foils – combined in fine, often multi-layered compositions. Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients, and light reflections, her works create images that do not dominate the space but fill it with a quiet presence.
Her artistic creation follows the concept “That’s how silence sounds” – a painterly exploration of the moment between sound and silence.
Exhibitions & Collections:
Her works have been shown in, among others, “Hamburg Shows Art,” at the Jupiter Gallery, and in several HASPA branches. Her works are in private collections in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, the USA, and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).
