Tea caddy/ box - Porcelain - Kangxi (1662-1722)

Attractive blue-and-white Chinese porcelain miniature tea caddy, made in Jingdezhen during the Kangxi period (1662–1722). The vessel is decorated with a floral motif separated into four panels. The hallmarked silver mount, bearing a sword mark, is a later Dutch addition dating to the early 20th century. The mount features a floral finial that complements the decoration on the vessel well.

Condition: very good, with no visible damages (see photographs).
