Artur Sudak (born 1965) presents the oil painting If I, an original Surrealist work from Poland (2026) measuring 80 cm high by 60 cm wide, depicting a nude man in a suit before a glowing portal, sold directly by the artist, in perfect condition, signed with a handwritten signature and with a signature on the plate.
Description from the seller
“Gdybym” is one of the most introspective works by Artur Sudak from the 2026 collection. The painting depicts a solitary figure of a man in an elegant suit, standing in darkness before a monumental, luminous portal. The interior of this passage reveals a completely different world—a path bathed in golden sunlight leading toward another, distant silhouette.
The work is a visual interpretation of human dilemmas, dreams of alternate life paths, and the moment when we confront our own past or future. The titular “Gdybym” leaves the viewer with an unanswered question, making them a co-author of this story.
Colors may vary slightly depending on lighting.
Born in 1965. A painter, autodidact, graphic artist. He completed studies in painting and drawing at the “Curso Practico de Dibujo Pintura Larousse”, works in all possible styles, particularly fascinated by realist painting and romanticism. The artist’s works are known both in the country and abroad. He sells his paintings mainly to private collectors.
