SKE, Empreintes : Transmission, a unique 1/1 digital painting on Hahnemühle fine art paper, 80 x 60 cm, signed, from France, created in 2020 or later, edition 1/1, sold by Galerie.
Description from the seller
- Unique Work: Imprints: Transmission
- Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt.
- FineArt print on museum-grade Hahnemühle art paper.
- XL Format: 80x60 cm easy to frame.
In this new version of the series Imprints, SKE stages a silhouette of a man holding a child’s hand, walking together at the heart of a fractured urban landscape.
The background blends concrete, abstract graffiti, splashes and vivid colors, like a wall loaded with stories. Facing this raw energy, the two black-and-white figures emerge as a sensitive, almost intimate imprint, printed in the city.
The work speaks of transmission, protection and a shared path. A simple and powerful image: moving forward together, leaving an imprint, and transmitting far more than a gesture.
This piece inaugurates a broader series, Imprints, dedicated to human presences in urban space: children, adults, anonymous silhouettes or poetic figures, all treated as fragments of memory caught in matter.
Edition unique 1/1
Format XL: 80 x 60 cm
Print on premium Hahnemühle paper
Work from the series "Imprints"
Artist: SKE
Style: contemporary street art, urban pop art, stencil, abstract graffiti, contemporary mural art
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a wide-ranging practice who grew up with the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring the majority of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been shown in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also making a mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style that is now indispensable.
SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Awarded & Acclaimed Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A WORLD BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversions of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to twist Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and cartoons is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art with textured finishes that sometimes evoke the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
