Description: Fine candlestick ca. 1819-1838, executed as a stylized column carried by dolphins, with knurl edge and acanthus leaf edge. At one time a small hole was drilled, probably to convert it into a dim-light lamp, but now it is again perfectly suitable as a candlestick.
