New contemporary abstract artwork, unique and original, belonging to the Sea series (Seascape). Inspired by the light, colors, and serenity of the Mediterranean Sea.
At the bottom, I have developed a fusion of different shades of blue that evoke movement, transparency, and the freshness of the water. The sky, in tones of sky blue and white, brings expansiveness and brightness to the composition. A horizontal line in cream and beige tones traces a subtle horizon, balancing the lightness of the sky with the depth of the sea. Each stroke is designed to convey calm, harmony, and the timeless beauty of what is essential.

“Sea” No. 135 is an abstract work hand-painted with acrylic on cotton canvas, with dimensions of 120 cm x 40 cm.

The work does not include stretchers, nor decorative frame.

About the artist:
My name is Gaby Acevedo, I am a visual artist, born in Argentina (1972). I live and produce my works in Spain. With more than 25 years of experience, I specialized in abstract art, mixed media, and collage. My artistic practice is built as a form of observation and dialogue with the everyday, especially with the urban spaces I inhabit. I work from painting, photography, and other visual languages to explore how the city shapes our emotions, our memories, and our way of being in the world.
