Vintage wooden tripod architect's stool from France, dating to the 1960s, in good condition with small signs of aging and blemishes.
Description from the seller
Vintage Wooden Architect's Stool - Height Adjustable Artist Workshop Stool - 1960s
Beautiful and robust vintage architect's/artist's workshop stool, entirely crafted from solid wood (likely pine or beech). This classic three-legged (tripod) design features an impressive, fully functional wooden central screw ("corkscrew" mechanism) that allows for easy height adjustment simply by rotating the circular seat.
The stool features two intermediate round wooden tiers that serve both as structural reinforcement and as comfortable footrests at different heights. The underside of the seat is reinforced with a thick wooden flange to ensure maximum stability and weight distribution.
With its wonderful natural grain, warm patina, and authentic industrial character, this versatile piece can be used as a unique bar stool, a side table, or a decorative plant pedestal.
In good, solid vintage condition with natural signs of wear, surface blemishes, and minor scuffs consistent with its age and workshop history.
The wooden screw mechanism operates smoothly. Traces of historical wood glue/reinforcement are visible underneath the seat (as shown in photos), ensuring the structure remains completely sturdy and safe to use. No structural wobbling.
Dimensions
- Maximum Height (Approx.): 73 cm ; l : 39 cm
- Adjustable to lower positions by spinning the seat down.
- Design: Tripod base (Three legs)
The product will be professionally packed and sent safely to your address by local post.
