The CD 10 can be regarded as Philips' first "Discman". Built-in power supply, adjustable volume and quite "shockproof" for its time.
With an output for connection to an amplifier and a 3.5 mm jack plug for headphones.
Back then it was very expensive and therefore not many were sold relative to others.
The later portable CD players quickly became more affordable and thus more common.
Working and in good condition

De CD 10 kan beschouwd worden als eerste "discman" van Philips. Ingebouwde voeding, regelbaar volume en behoorlijk "shockproof"voor die tijd.
Met een uitgang voor aansluiting op een versterker en een 3.5 mm jackplugje voor de oortjes. 
Destijds erg duur en daarom zullen er niet erg veel van verkocht zijn in verhouding. De latere portable CD spelers werden al snel betaalbaarder en dus ook gangbaarder.
