Impressive sculpture “La Danse” by Eugène Marioton (1857-1933)

Made of terracotta (white-firing clay) with a green patina

Eugène Marioton, Claudius’s brother, began his career as a sculptor and medal engraver before eventually switching to allegorical, antique and romantic subjects and portraits.


Condition: cracked at the base and the foot is partly damaged.

Carefully packed and shipped with insured delivery.
