Ansco Pioneer Analogue camera

The Pioneer is a film camera produced at the Ansco plant in Binghamton, New York, starting around 1940. It was available in two film formats: 620 and the larger 616 (2½ × 4¼ inch negative). The camera has a metal body and a plastic resin lens barrel. The Pioneer uses a curved focal plane in an attempt to better accommodate the field curvature of its single-element lens. (This approach is also used in the Agfa Clack and in many later low-quality 35 mm film cameras.)
