Antique carved and gilded wooden frame dating to circa 1900, with a wavy, richly moulded outer beaded edge and volute carving, inner opening 25 x 20 cm (34.5 x 28 x 4.5 cm external), in good used condition with age-related marks, and includes a convex antique glass, a painting as a gift, and a silk back lining.

Scenic, beautiful in appearance and form, its main feature is the majestic grooved outer edge characterized by a wavy and richly protruding profile and by elaborate volute carvings that gracefully swirl around the frame, making it an object of exceptional charm.
