Description from the seller
AMA • Pope (1985) - "Coco Cartel" - Chanel - 1/20
Complete your Pop Art collection with this satinized white stainless steel Bullet, reinterpreted around the theme of the French luxury house Coco Chanel in a limited edition of 20 for 2025 (this is not an official product of the brand).
“Coco Cartel” transforms the world of luxury, fashion and Parisian glamour into a provocative pop art ammunition, between haute couture, dirty money and chic gangster aesthetics.
With its black vinyl mark, its pistol bullet silhouette and the white/black/gold contrast, this piece plays with the codes of luxury to better subvert them.
Treat yourself to a piece as elegant as it is sultry, perfect for a pop art, contemporary and offbeat decoration — without going through custodial time.
Bid now on this “Coco Cartel” bullet, a provocative, brilliant and decidedly collectible piece.
Limited edition numbered artwork, dated, signed and delivered with an authenticity certificate "AMA".
Fast and careful shipping (bubble wrap, tissue paper and cardboard) with signature on delivery.
Who is Pope?
Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe driven by a practice of visual arts since childhood, a high standard of detail and meticulous visual research. Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and awe-filled gaze, attentive to both simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.
Pope primarily draws inspiration from the world around him but also from currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name a few.
Whether for a gift, a memento or your personal collection of contemporary art, you will easily find your favorite thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his passion for urban art through street art (streetart) and pop art (popart) (limited or not), tackling a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug-related harms, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, agri-food and fashion products (sport, sneakers...).
Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope likes to slyly subvert labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many others.
Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to appreciate the lot sold is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description and photos... After the sale, no unfounded complaints will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
