- Inscriptions: Obverse: WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSSEN around the bust to the right. Reverse: DEUTSCHES REICH · 1913 · FÜNF MARK around the imperial crowned eagle with central shield; mint mark A under the eagle; dotted peripheral edge.
- Grade: MS61 (NGC).
5-Mark silver coin with a uniform portrait of Wilhelm II facing right, in a realist, academic style, highlighting precision in facial features and in the Prussian decoration of the uniform. The reverse features the German imperial crowned eagle, with a strong heraldic design and well-defined relief on the wings and central shield. It retains the original luster visible in the fields and high-relief details, with light contact marks consistent with grade MS61. A representative specimen of the last imperial issues preceding World War I, minted in the year of the Kaiser’s 25th anniversary on the throne, within the context of the German Empire’s political and military apex.
