« In his photographs, the American troublemaker denounces the phallocentric view of sex and, conversely, favors a skin-deep sensuality, a liberated femininity. The photographer depicts a taboos-free universe – neither religious nor moral – in which women naturally hold the same prerogatives as men. The artist takes pleasure in explicitly highlighting women who, without self-consciousness, naturally yield to their impulses – whether on a bed, in a bar, or in public places. »
