Montblanc - StarWalker "Cool Blue - Pen

Here we present one of the most vibrant, luminous, and sought-after variants of the iconic modern line from the Hamburg maison: the Montblanc StarWalker Ballpoint Pen “Cool Blue,” a piece now out of production and dearly loved by collectors.

Unlike the classic black resin versions, the Cool Blue edition immediately catches the eye thanks to extraordinary workmanship. The body and cap are made of solid metal, finely engraved with an elegant vertical guilloche pattern. The entire surface is then coated with a thick, glossy translucent blue lacquer, which creates incredible plays of light and depth depending on how it is struck, recalling the reflections of water or ice.

To further highlight this deep blue are the bright platinum-plated finishes on the clip, tip, and the three rings. At the top, the iconic transparent dome is present, inside which the Montblanc white star emblem seems to float magically in the void.

The mechanical operation relies on the classic and precise continuous-rotation (twist) system. The excellent photos of the disassembled instrument are a crucial guarantee: they reveal the solid internal metal threading in gold-plated brass, a construction detail that certifies its absolute quality and originality. The pen currently uses an original refill.

The condition is to be considered in very good to excellent overall condition. The blue lacquer is perfectly smooth, mirror-bright, and free of chips, cracks, or impacts; only the physiological and microscopic hairline marks from normal and careful handling are visible. The platinum plating is intact and brilliant. The serial code is regularly engraved on the clip ring. Completing and enriching the lot, the pen is accompanied by its elegant original Montblanc rigid case.
