Title Chinese blanc-de-chine style brush washer with relief decoration – Qing dynasty Description Chinese blanc-de-chine porcelain censer of cylindrical form, raised on three feet. The exterior decorated in continuous relief with archaistic motifs and borders. Covered in a thick white glaze with soft sheen. The interior left unglazed, showing kiln marks and age-related wear consistent with Qing dynasty production. Provenance: Private collection, acquired from Mr Dupernex (specialist Chinese ceramics dealer), Worthing, 20 September 1984, with receipt.
