The work depicts a man trying to flee from a €1 coin, the universal symbol of money.
The €1 coin, crafted with gold and silver finishes that evoke the real colors, symbolizes the magnetic pull of money, capable of trapping and chasing anyone who becomes dependent on it.
The man, in matte black, emphasizes the contrast between the materiality of money and the essence of the human being
Sagrasse sculpture
Born in 1966 in Macerata, in the Marche region, in the resin sector for over 30 years, after choosing to devote himself to his passion, sculpture has gained worldwide recognition with several private exhibitions and dedicated villas. In his works he tackles modern themes and important issues such as ecology and social ideologies.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted artwork, conceived and made entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of the entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean without using detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
