Description from the seller
Bruno Paolo Benedetti, born in 1954, began taking photographs, studying perspective and photographic techniques, in 1968. From the beginning he was concerned with black-and-white photography, observing the contrasts of nature, the lights, and interpreting the reality around him. When he was 25 he began working in the darkroom, enhancing his technique using filters, high-contrast films to make his first pictures of surreal and abstract photography. At the same time he began traveling around Europe and the world: India, Nepal, Bhutan, South America, South Africa, Egypt, the Comoros Islands are some of the most visited places. The study of the religions, the mysticism in all of them, inspired his artistic production, especially his surreal photography, where cultural and religious archetypes are depicted.
Exhibitions:
Venice Mystery, Venice, November 2015
Internazionale Italia Arte, MITT Turin, May 2013
Cinema Farnese Rome, June–July 2012

Winter Water Reflections
“Winter Water Reflections” transforms a quiet natural scene into a fluid, almost surreal abstraction. The reflective surface of winter water becomes a canvas of shifting light and distorted forms, where sky, branches, and sunlight dissolve into dynamic waves of blue, black, and luminous white. The image captures a fleeting moment where reality bends into something painterly and expressive, inviting the viewer to explore the boundary between landscape and abstraction. Part of a limited edition of 30 prints, this piece is offered as number 1.
This photograph was used by Tiffany & Co. in New York for four years to support the online sale of precious items.
