This specific variant stands out for an extraordinary visual and tactile contrast. The cap and the imposing grip section are made in solid platinum-plated metal, enhanced by a refined horizontal-line engraving (circular guilloché). This ribbed finish catches the light, creating continuous metallic reflections. The central body is forged in classic black precious resin, but it also repeats the same tactile ribbed motif, ensuring an exceptional grip and a dynamic aesthetic. To crown it all, there is the famous transparent dome atop the cap, inside which the white star emblem seems to magically float.

The model is a Fineliner / Rollerball (with removable cap). Your excellent photographs of the instrument disassembled highlight a highly beloved mechanical detail of the StarWalker line: the metal threading on the tail end of the barrel, which allows you to screw the cap securely onto the back of the pen during writing, guaranteeing perfect weight balance. It currently houses its original Fineliner refill (marker-style), but it is fully compatible with the classic Montblanc Rollerball refills.

The condition is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The platinum-plated metal parts retain a formidable mirror finish; only extremely light and physiological micro-scratches (hairlines) from normal handling are noticeable, free of dents or deep scratches. The black resin body is perfect and pristine. The serial code is regularly engraved on the clip ring.
