Description from the seller
BOSQUE INGRÁVIDO 118 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Bosque Ingrávido”, the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that pins them to the ground. The landscape becomes the stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of the imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not incidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and what is stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Bosque Ingrávido” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Bosque Ingrávido” already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
