Description from the seller
3D Bauhaus #001
Edition 2/10 — 60 x 80 cm
This work is part of the series 3D Bauhaus, a project that reinterprets the fundamental principles of Bauhaus from a contemporary and three-dimensional perspective. Through meticulous manual 3D modeling work, the piece transforms the classical language of geometry —circles, cylindrical volumes and modular shapes— into a clean, balanced sculptural composition that is deeply current.
Far from being a mere historical reinterpretation, the piece proposes a contemporary “twist”: polished surfaces, precise lighting, and digital materials that add depth, texture, and an almost tangible presence. The result is a work that oscillates between the graphic and the sculptural, between minimalism and playfulness.
This series asserts the relevance of Bauhaus as a universal language, bringing it into a new territory where technology, design, and art converge to generate an timeless and contemporary aesthetic.
Cess is an artist specializing in digital art, CGI, and artificial intelligence, with a solid international track record. He has collaborated with brands such as Apple, Google, Prada, Vogue, and MTV, developing projects where creativity, technology, and contemporary visual language converge.
