The Virgin “Joy of All Who Sorrow” (in Russian, Joy of All Who Sorrow), where the Mother of God appears helping the sick, poor and in need, accompanied by angels who convey her divine aid.

The Virgin occupies the center of the scene and appears standing, in a protective stance.
On both sides there are groups of people representing the afflicted or needy.
The angels intervene between the Virgin and the faithful.
At the top Christ appears blessing from heaven.
Greek inscriptions are observed, suggesting Greek origin or Hellenic influence, rather than Russian.
