Antique Romanian Orthodox icon painted on a single wooden panel, depicting multiple liturgical scenes arranged in a grid format typical of a Menologion (calendar icon). The scenes include the Resurrection of Christ as the central composition, surrounded by feasts of the Orthodox liturgical year. Inscriptions in Church Slavonic. The reverse bears a handwritten Romanian dedication dated May 1981, confirming the icon was already considered an antique at the time of gifting. Painted in egg tempera with characteristic folk Byzantine style, consistent with 19th century Romanian provincial iconography.
