Beautiful original color lithograph by Louis Toffoli (1907-1999), depicting a view of the Grand Canal of Venice with the Basilica Santa Maria della Salute, gondolas in the foreground and the characteristic façades of the Serenissima.

Edition: limited to 150 copies
Numbering: 124/150 (written by hand in pencil at the bottom left)
Signature: hand-signed in pencil by the artist at the bottom right
Dimensions with frame: 93 × 72 cm
Condition: very good overall condition
An authenticity certificate is on the back, attesting that each impression was signed and numbered by the artist and that the plates were destroyed after the printing of this edition.
About the artist:
Louis Toffoli, born in Trieste in 1907 and died in Paris in 1999, is a Franco-Italian painter and lithographer known for his personal figurative style, blending the softness of forms with luminous colors. His lithographs, issued in limited editions, have been distributed in the finest Parisian galleries. A museum has been dedicated to him in Charenton-le-Pont. His works are represented in many public and private collections across Europe.
