He played 14 seasons in the NBA, where he played as a power forward for the Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trail Blazers, and Orlando Magic. His nickname was "The Reignman." This signing is also on the jersey in silver. 

He was a six-time NBA All-Star and a three-time All-NBA Second Team member. During his career he scored 15,347 points (14.6 points per game), 1,704 assists, and 8,834 rebounds.

In 1994 he joined the American national basketball team, which won gold at the World Championship in Hamilton and Toronto, Canada.
