Original Technique: Sculpted Pigmented Concrete
This artwork is created according to a personal technique developed by the artist, combining mineral concrete and color pigments embedded directly into the material.
Unlike traditional paint applied on a surface, the colors are an integral part of the very structure of the work. A specific mixture of fine concrete, artistic binders and pigments is worked by hand and then sculpted before it fully sets.
The reliefs are then traced and modeled by hand to create a network of three-dimensional lines that traverse the material. This method yields real physical depth, where light catches the volumes and continually reveals new nuances depending on the viewing angle.
