Original technique: Sculpted Pigmented Concrete
This work is made according to a personal technique developed by the artist, combining mineral concrete and color pigments integrated directly into the material.
Unlike traditional painting applied on the surface, the colors are an integral part of the very structure of the artwork. A specific mixture of fine concrete, artistic binders and pigments is manually worked and then sculpted before it fully sets.
The reliefs are then traced and modeled by hand to create a network of three-dimensional lines that traverse the material. This method achieves real physical depth, where light catches the volumes and continuously reveals new nuances depending on the viewing angle.
Each piece requires many steps of layering, pigmentation and manual sculpting, making any reproduction strictly impossible.
