Description from the seller
Atmospheric painting from 2012 by Ennio Morricone, known for the many famous film soundtracks such as Once Upon a Time in the West and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Directly from the artist's studio. An experimental work, with transparent color layers. It is not yet framed but is equipped with a hanging system. The work is shipped by registered mail in a sturdy cardboard box with double plastic and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. More information about the artist can be found on his website. www.heersema.com. Bert Heersema lives and works in Zwolle, Netherlands.
Statement: By staying away from the actual reality around us I try to evoke a nostalgic atmosphere. Atmosphere and space, not defined by a lot of realistic details but rather by simplicity, often a sober color palette, whereby a certain color accent draws all the attention.
