Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Hommage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, with Andy Warhole and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blaue Quardat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects were painstakingly handmade by me.
The traces of manual work are visible on the object and reflect the uniqueness of each individual piece.
Hand-signed
Art object is approx. 32/12/11 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black glossy pedestal mounted
Ultramarine pigment achieves a matte, light-absorbing surface with a specific formulation.
The less light there is in the room, the more intensively the blue glows.
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Lyon, Strasbourg ...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thereby given a new life as "art objects".
