A unique journey back in time for the serious Star Wars collector: the Technic R2-D2 (set 8009) from 2002. This large-scale, mechanical model hails from the early years of the Star Wars Technic line and is a beautiful piece of LEGO history.
The model is packed with ingenious, mechanical functions powered by gears and levers:
- A mechanism to rotate its head 360 degrees.
- A extendable and foldable third wheel (front leg) for extra stability.
- Movable tool arms on the front that can be opened manually.
Condition of the set:
Condition: MISB (Mint in Sealed Box).
Box: The original 2002 cardboard box is fully present, never opened, and equipped with the original factory seals. Given its age of over 24 years, the box is in an exceptionally good collector’s condition, with minimal storage traces. The colors have remained beautifully bright.
Contents: All 242 parts and the original instruction booklet are in the original, unopened factory packaging.
