The Cakewalk Sonar V-Studio 100 (released in 2009) is a portable all-in-one production station that combines an 8-input/6-output USB audio interface (24-bit/96kHz), a DAW control surface, a digital mixer with DSP effects, and an onboard SD card recorder.
Main features
Audio Interface: Includes 2 XLR microphone preamps with phantom power, instrument (Hi-Z) inputs, line inputs, and S/PDIF digital I/O.
DAW Controller: Equipped with a 100 mm touch-sensitive motorized fader, rotary encoders, and transport buttons. Supports the Mackie Control protocol (for Logic, Ableton, Cubase, etc.) and advanced Sonar control via Active Controller Technology (ACT).
Standalone mixer and SD Recorder: Can be used without a computer to mix live audio or record tracks directly to an SD card. It features built-in compression, equalization, and reverb.
