Number 06/50
“Addicted to style. Overdosed by brands.”
Symbol of power, elegance, desire… and sometimes dependence.
Behind the veneer of luxury, “Cocaine Bullet” questions the blurred line between admiration and addiction.
This series of 4 works, inspired by both the codes of luxury and the culture of excess, denounces with irony our thirst for possession and recognition.
Each piece is a cartridge of illusion: shiny, alluring, but empty of meaning once consumed.
Because, deep down, the real overdose is the one of appearances.
- Theme: Supreme, Coca-Cola, and the Louis Vuitton monogram
- ARTIST BIO :
SKE is a self-taught and versatile French artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double readings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s profile has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” by the Opulence gallery in October, and also had a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also asserts himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and textures define a style now indispensable.
SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Credited & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
The work of SKE is part of a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to re-interpret Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave off Kanagawa, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms, to fuse them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or KAWS.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates the icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with characters like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash Ketchum), and Marvel’s Super Heroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style that sometimes echoes Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits beside the logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter the sneaker universe (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumer icons like Coca-Cola.
It is vibrant art, with worked textures evoking the glossy finish of a Jeff Koons or the facets of a Richard Orlinski.
This piece is ideal to enrich a collection or bring a dynamic touch to your interior.
