Omega Constellation TV Screen Chronometer, Ref. 168.044, with Omega Caliber 1001 automatic chronometer movement, produced in the 1970s (Year 1970), featuring a steel case with a 40 micron gold-plated bezel, 33 mm case diameter, regular band length (180–200 mm), repainted dial, and a stainless steel bracelet, in very good condition with minor signs of wear; no original box, papers, or warranty.

Description:
Up for sale from my personal collection is a stunning and rare Omega Constellation Automatic "TV Screen" from the 1970s. This timepiece perfectly captures the futuristic design era of the 70s, featuring a highly sought-after, beautiful green dial.

Reference Number: 168.044
Movement: Omega Caliber 1001 Automatic, officially certified Chronometer, 20 Jewels (Movement Serial: 33122912).
Case Dimensions: 34.2 mm width (excluding crown) / 40.9 mm Lug-to-Lug. Iconic TV-shaped vintage profile.
Case Material: 40 Microns gold-plated bezel/upper case (Carrure-Lunette Plaque Or G 40 Microns) with a stainless steel caseback (Fond Acier Inoxydable).
Caseback: Features the iconic and crisp Omega Constellation "Observatory" medallion.
Dial: Beautiful green dial, professionally restored / refinished. Features a date window at the 3 o'clock position.
Strap & Buckle: Fitted with a matching green alligator-grain leather strap and buckle, which are aftermarket (not original to the watch) and measure 20-16 mm.
Condition:
The watch is in very good vintage condition. The original Omega Cal. 1001 movement is clean and running well. The case retains its sharp lines, and the substantial 40-micron gold plating shows beautifully for its age. A rare green-dialed Omega classic, ready to be worn or added to a fine vintage collection.
