The body is crafted from solid sterling silver 925 with a distinctive gun‑metal finish achieved through a coating of ruthenium. This not only gives the pen its deep, metallic grey hue but also makes the silver harder and highly scratch‑resistant. The subtly squared cross‑section, echoing Manhattan's architectural geometry, makes it instantly recognisable among fine writing instruments.
