Lemon yellow, large, lustrous, translucent & gemmy sulphur crystal with attachment of (natural) black bitumen which gives it an extra contrast!
Well shaped and colored sulphur crystals are found in countries like Bolivia and Poland but for the best and most aethestic combination pieces Sicily is the winner. The last sulphur mine closed here in 1989.
(Sulphur is always hard to photograph, this specimen is even more lemon yellow colored and better in person!)
