Entering the atmosphere at a speed of 14 km/s, the meteorite began to disintegrate. At a height of 5.6 km, the largest mass seemed to have fun with violence. The bright Flash and deafening the fall shock were observable within a radius of 300 km around the point of impact.
A trail of smoke, with a length of 32 km, remained in the sky for several hours.
