Charald race car This lightweight Charald is driven by a motorcycle engine, delivers plenty of power and is mounted in a small lightweight chassis. The streamlined nose has air inlets to provide cooling of the motorcycle engine. A great car for trackdays that will certainly put a smile on your face when you drive it. The car also comes with the depicted body moulds and additional parts. Power (HP): 150 Engine displacement: 1000cc Year of production: 1991 Weight: 650kg Condition: used History of the car: This car was built in the 1970s/1980s by mister Gérald Le Goff & mister Charles Fassier. Hence the name Charald. In the 1990s, the car was fully rebuilt to preserve the central unit and to install an engine from a Renault 19 16-valve with a gearbox from a Renault 5 turbo. Late 1998, it was sold to Belgium. There it received a new engine, a motorcycle engine Honda CBR 1100 XX. The car was purely built for hillclimbing & uphill courses.
