1952 ZEISS IKON 'Movikon 8' 8mm Movie/Cine Camera.

1952 ZEISS IKON 'Movikon-8' 8mm Cine/Movie Camera.
Manufactured by Zeiss in Germany from 1952, the Movikon was an unusual and innovative movie camera, more in the style of the conventional still camera then a cine derivative. It is finished in grey stove-enamel and features a working clockwork motor with 4 shutter speeds plus single-frame shooting. The f1.9 10mm Zeiss Movitar lens appears clear. It comes in excellent, beautifully-made condition and weighs-in at 1300g, complete with quality leather ever-ready type camera case and instruction booklet.
A very good example.
