Josep Puigdengolas Barrela (Barcelona (1906-1987), was a 20th century Spanish landscape painter.
The Marquis of Lozoya said of Puigdengolas which was among the most distinguished representatives of the Spanish landscape school. Represented in the National Museum Reina Sofía Art Center and the Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, among others.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. He had his studio in Barcelona but he resided in Majorca and La Cerdanya. In 1951 he was appointed professor at the School of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
In 1972, his son Josep married the painter Glòria Muñoz. 1
