I have here a Atlas book entitled THE HOLY LAND IN ANCIENT MAPS with Reproductions of Ten Maps and Eight Views of the Country published by The Universitas Booksellers of Jerusalem (Israel) Second Enlarged Edition, 1958.

Here we have beautiful colour maps of the Land of Israael and the City of Jerusalem. In former times people held that the Land and the City were the most significant sites on earth, and their maps would show Jerusalem as the centre of the world. The earliest woodcut is dated 1576 and the latest etching 1752.
Paperback covers with an illustrated front cover of a map with dark brown lettering. Stains to cover. On the back cover is another map with arabic type. All pages are tight and clean. No pagination but 16pp.
