Dutch enamel, etcher, graphic artist, industrial designer, designer, (of glass) and painter, born July 8, 1922 Hoensbroek (Heerlen), died January 23, 2015 in Maastricht.

In addition to his designs for cut crystal dinnerware, Verboeket is best known for the so-called "Crystal Uniques", one-off objects in individual and expressive forms and colors that are incorporated into the glass as threads.
Maximilian Leo Hubert Maria Verboeket studied stained glass and fresco in Maastricht at the High School of Applied Arts and free drawing and painting at the Jan van Eyck Academy.
Max Verboeket was in the period 1954-1972 chief designer in permanent service at the Kristalunie in Maastricht where he was the successor of W.J. Rozendaal, who had been away for years! He designed crystal drinking sets, vases, "Manuvaria" and "Kristalunieken".
