Comtoise, Laloi in Negerville - Copper, Iron (cast/wrought), Polychrome - First half 19th century

Comtoise clock with the unique feature of having the calendar that mechanically changes the day of the month every 24 hours.

As you can see in the photos, it has a large bell to strike on the hour and half hour.

Its polychrome balance wheel is completely tooled and this too is in good condition.

Height of balance wheel: 105 cm, max. width: 30 cm.

The full diameter of the front of the clock is 33 cm, while it measures 40 cm in height.

The clock comes with two weights and original winding key.

The clock works very well and strikes every full and half hour; the distinctive thing about this clock is that after having announced the hour, two minutes elapse and it re-strikes the hour as a way of reminding you of the time.

The clock is in perfect working order.

Possible adjustments after shipping.

Because of the weight of the clock, it will be sent in 3 packages. One for the weights, one for the clock case and one for the balance wheel.

The photos are an integral part of the description.

It will be shipped with tracking.
