Very historic, interesting and rare 350cc two-stroke from 1967: rotating intake, 6 gears, dry clutch, hard chrome cylinders.
Because of this advanced model (just a little bit 'further' than its beautiful competitors...), Bridgestone was under fire in 1967 from the Japanese: 'It either becomes a competitive war (against Honda CB 77, Yamaha YR 1, Kawasaki A 7 Samurai and Suzuki T 305), or we'll simply buy your tyres from now on.' BS bowed out and ceased production...
This one is an untouched time capsule, except for the perfect restored velvet buddy.
One piston is missing and the crank shaft is not good. The block ran for 15 seconds when the big end broke down. The necessary parts were already in stock when the company burned down. The parts can still be obtained, but the owner hasn’t got round to do it.
The bike came from the USA via England in the 1990s; the papers have been lost. It’s a simple restoration, other than some superficial rust it’s all in good condition. If necessary, you can make it rideable again in this condition.
I can provide transport advice.
