Władysław III Jagielończyk was the first-born son of the famous king of Poland, Władysław II Jagiełło, who defeated the Teutonic Order in 1410.

This is the first gold coin with the coat of arms of the Republic of Poland, i.e. the Polish Eagle. It is considered to be a Polish-Hungarian coin.

The NGC gave the coin the highest and the only grade in the world, i.e. MS 63.
