Moba figures are called Yendu Tchitchiri. They have a protective function for personal use but also placed in family and clan shrines. They will bring health and prosperity and are directly connected to the Yendu god. The abstract nearly symbolic form is impressive. All kind of details dissipated leaving no face details, hands, feet or gender indication .
We believe this quite big figure of 70 cm ( with a metal stand) was probably made for decoration to be sold some time ago. One arm is missing.
I got it at an auction selling out the items from a dealer in Mechelen in Belgium who traveled through Togo various times.
