A Blue Glaze Octagonal Vase And Fitted Wood Stand, Qianlong Mark And Of The Period (1736-1795)
An unusual blue glazed vase of octagonal form. Rising from a tall splayed foot to a faceted body consisting of six sides, pinching at the neck and rising to a flared rim.
The glaze most likely misfired in the kiln. A six character minyao Qianlong seal mark to the base and of the period (1736-1795).
Together with a fitted wood stand.
Condition: Kintsugi style gold lacquer repairs to the mouth rim.
Measures: 22cm in height (26.2 cm including the wood stand)
